Dead Letter Auction played a few reunion shows August 27, 28, and 29th in NYC.
2/3 of those were with Portraits of Past.
the lineup was the Vertigo lineup: Damian, Jarod, John McCormick, and Chris - though we played songs off Cancer, and a few of the last batch that were never released.
they were a lot of fun. we may or may not continue to get together and play some songs together.
Jarod is in Bloomington, IN and in a band called Morrow.
John is in Roanoke, IN and in Skything
Chris is in LA, he'll be back in NYC soon.
Damian is in NYC as a student.

if anyone has any photos or video (especially), i really would like to have that. i am in the process of editing some stuff, working on a layout for the last 5 song (demos). etc...
6 months later, we are still kinda looking for a replacement for Chris.
we will be playing about 4-5 more shows with Chris. dates will be announced very soon.

not too much to report.
working on some archive things. will be adding some more  mp3's + videos as the days go on.
added a list of members, so go see if you made it or not.
we'll be playing not much more than music fest this summer. as of right now, i believe that will be our last show.

:Monday, December 22, 2003:
ok, so it's not really a new layout,. but i did add some new + unreleased mp3's.
i will be adding more as the days go on.

we are "working" on a lot of things ie our next releases one of which might be a split 7". we'll see!

:Friday, June 6, 2003:
apparently there was a mess up at the pressing plant and the cds won't be shipping until next week (we were expecting them today). we will have them in Colorado Springs. all pre-orders will be filled as soon as we get home from tour; which will be the week of June 15th.

:Thursday, May 15, 2003:
we have 2 new shirts. one is the hourglass (red ink on black shirts), the other is the building that is also on our posters (red and gray ink on black heather (dark gray)). the funeral diner shows were awesome and we can't wait to do shows with them out in California.
we will be getting our cd back from the plant while we are in California, we will send out the preorders and those that buy the cdr version.

:Tuesday, April 29, 2003:
we are now taking pre-orders for our full length Cancer of Time.
they will be shipped out as soon as we get them. we will let you know when that will be.
they are $10ppd within the US. other prices are on the catalog pages.

:Sunday, April 6, 2003:
we have maybe 4 holes to fill on our tour. please help us out.
we also need people to hang posters, and get us in touch with radio (always).
Cancer of Time
should be available from us in about a month.
we'll be finishing the layout this week, and i believe it is being mastered this week as well. once this is all finished we should start taking pre-orders.
if not during the funeral diner shows, we will have them in time for the tour.
we won't be sending them to our distributors until the last week of June.
the official release date is 7.1.03.
also got a newreview in for Vertigo.

Foreshadow (taken from Cancer of Time) is now up onmp3.com/dla.

:Wednesday, March 19, 2003:
yet another new website. we should have our own domain (http://www.deadletterauction.com) working soon.
we recently played a few shows out east w/ our friends step softly ghost. thanks to everyone that was involved, let us use your floor, and everyone that came out. light the fuse and run is awesome.
we did a tour support cdep for that tour. it has four songs from our forthcoming full length Cancer of Time. we have some left so if you'd like one get in touch. we also just got some buttons done (after we got home from tour). last night (3/18/03) we put on a benefit for international answer. thanks to those that came out. we were able to raise some money and hopefully some awareness. we were called communists for doing such a thing.
other than that keep an eye out for some major changes over the next few weeks as we get settled in here.
